A 22-year-old content creator and food consultant Munachimso Nwana has set a new world record by visiting 150 fast-food restaurants within 24 hours.
The record-breaking attempt took place in Abuja and shattered the previous record of 100 restaurants, which was set last year by American YouTuber Airrack.
According to the Guinness World Records on Wednesday via its site, his journey began at Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa residential district and concluded at Kilimanjaro in the city centre.
Over the course of his challenge, he walked more than 25 kilometres, as private transport is not permitted for this record attempt.
To meet the criteria for the record, he purchased and consumed at least one food or drink item at each establishment, with 75% of the orders required to be food.
He sampled a wide range of dishes, from shawarma, pizza, fried chicken, and burgers to his favourite Nigerian delicacies, such as moin moin (bean pudding) and àmàlà (a swallow food).
Despite the volume of food consumed, he ensured that nothing went to waste, as his team and members of the public shared in the remaining meals.
