Team Nigeria athletes to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in France, have all returned to the country.
Blueprint Sport can report that the athletes are made up of 24 athletes excluding officials, the team returned to the country on Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon in three batches.
The first batch which carried the Golden Para- Powerlifters, landed at 11 pm Nigeria time with AIR MAROC while the second batch that was made up mainly of Para Table Tennis players arrived 8 am on Tuesday aboard Qatar Airline .
The last batch which contained the Para- Ahletics team arrived Tuesday afternoon.
President of the Paralympic Committee Nigeria, Mr. Sunday Odebode has given God all the glory for the safe return of team Nigeria athletes from Paris, France. Odebode equally commended the Sports Minister, Senator John Owan Enoh for being there for the athletes throughout the games which contributed immensely to the success of the team.
Team Nigeria Paralympics won two gold medal, two silver and three bronze medals at the just concluded Paralympics games in France.
