President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engr. Musa Nimrod, revealed that the annual beach volleyball tour initiated under his regime is yielding positive results.
Engr. Nimrod stated this after Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 African U19 Girls Beach Volleyball Nations Championship in Morocco on Thursday.
Nimrod who doubled as the Chairman Control Committee of the 2024 African U19 Boys Beach Volleyball Nations Championship said the beach volleyball tour gave the beach players the opportunity to have more playing time and prepare Nigeria for International Championships.
He encouraged state/private clubs in the country to support the growth of beach volleyball by organising mini tournaments and presenting them for the Beach Tour as well as President Cup.
