Nigerdock revamps medical services, hires Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals

Nigerdock has engaged the services of Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals to oversee the provision of daily medical services within Snake Island Integrated Free Zone (SIIFZ).

The hiring of the medical company follows the reprioritisation and revamp of Nigerdock’s healthcare infrastructure after a thorough review of available health services within the economic hub.

Nigerdock Chief Human Resources Officer, Daniel Ayscough, remarked: “Our engagement of Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals, a renowned healthcare provider, reflects the importance of quality healthcare for our diverse workforce and clientele. In addition, the provision of excellent health services further underlines our position as the preferred location for our existing and potential clientele.”

With increased terminal and port operations within SIIFZ, Nigerdock has embarked on a vast upgrade of auxiliary services available to clientele including security, accommodation, catering, healthcare, and firefighting services.

Commenting on the engagement, Dr. Nkechinyere Medani, Managing Director, Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals and Worksite Clinics said: “We are excited to join hands with Nigerdock to showcase medical expertise enjoined with empathy.”

Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals will provide onsite clinic services, ranging from occupational health services, medical emergency, medication management, preventive care screening, and routine health checks.
