Niger gov congratulates new Ciroman Kano

Niger state Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has congratulated Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero on his appointment as the new Ciroman Kano and District Head of Nasarawa by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi  11.
In a press statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, he described the appointment “as timely, well-deserved and of direct significance” to growth and development of Kano Emirate Council.

He also said the new Ciroman Kano was “a man with impeccable pedigree” who had been in the system and at the centre stage of promoting peaceful co-existence and cultural values of the people when he was the Turakin Kano.
The governor charged him to remain loyal, steadfast and contribute to the objectives of the Kano Emirate Council in order to build on the legacies and foundation laid by past emirs in sustaining peace in the kingdom.

“It is a well-deserved appointment which is a proof of Ciroman Kano’s dedication to traditional values of Kano emirate.  I urge him to be loyal to,” he said.
Bello noted the continued contributions of the traditional institutions in nation-building, “especially in the sustenance of peace, crime control and sensitisation of their people on government policies and programmes.”
