A forum of youths under the umbrella of the Concerned Youths for Better Leadership (CYBEL) has intensified lobby for a philanthropist, Dr Murtala Muhammad Bagana, for appointment as the Chief of Staff to the governor- elect of Niger state, Mohammed Umar Bago.
The convener of the forum, Ambassador Danjuma Usman Suleiman, stated this weekend in a press briefing in Minna.
“The youth affirm that the position of Chief of Staff is a very sensitive position that requires a very innovative, exposed and experienced gentleman with capacity to deliver on the job. We have observed that Dr Bagana possess these outstanding qualities,” he said.
He stated that the youth have openly endorsed the appointment of Dr Bagana as Chief of Staff to the governor- elect after the May 29th inauguration towards enhancing good governance in Niger state.
He said: “We believe strongly that Bagana is highly accomplished young technocrat with the capacity to influence rapid economic growth and development of Niger state.” he said.
