Niger coup: Angry citizens launch attack on politicians, set ruling party’s office on fire

Angry Niger Republic citizens have begun to launch attack on politicians as coup in country degenerated into something messier.

In a video, a top female politician was seen struggling with mobs in the county as she was been beaten with sticks.

The mob made sure she was well to the ground before allowing her to leave their premises.

This is coming after aggrieved military personalities seized power from President Mohamed Bazoum and declared a coup in the country. The president was detained by his own internal security guards.

Despite calls by several international organizations shunning the military officers to stop the coup at its early stage, they didn’t oblige.
