NHFSS DCG commends Anambra CP over cordial relationship with police 

The Deputy Commander General, Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS), in charge of Technical Services, Ambassador John Metchie, has commended the Anambra state Commissioner of Police, Mr Aderemi Adeoye, for the cordial working relationship between the police and the hunters in the state.

Metchie made the commendation  weekend while speaking to newsmen on the courtesy visit by the Anambra state Police Commissioner which took place Wednesday at the Police Command’s headquarters Awka.

 Metchie described CP Adeoye as one of the finest security officers you can find anywhere in the world and said the commissioner’s leadership attributes, commitment and gallantry, as well as the motivation he gives to officers and men under his command had led to drastic reduction of crimes and criminalities in Anambra state.

Metchie who is also the Prime Minister of the Anambra state Association of Town Unions (ASATU), said CP Adeoye’s willingness to receive and share intelligence with the army, the DSS and other sister security agencies as well as local community leaders, was responsible for the peace being enjoyed in Anambra state currently under Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the state governor.

DCG Metchie, on behalf of the NHFSS Commander General, Dr. Wole Joshua Osatimehin, thanked CP Adeoye and promised that officers and Men of NHFSS would continue to complement the role of the police and other security agencies in order to rid the country of banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and other similar crimes.
