The Northern Governors Forum (NGF) said Kaduna state governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai’s excellent service performances is evident over the years.
It felicitated with El-Rufa’i as he marks his 60th birthday.
The NGF in a statement by its chairman, who is also the governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong, said the group joins the family, friends and associates of Governor El-Rufa’i to celebrate what they describe as “God’s grace upon his life because he has made tremendous impact in the journey to his golden age.”
The statement was contained in a press release Sunday issued by Lalong’s director of press and public affairs, Dr. Makut Macham.
Lalong described Governor El-Rufa’i as a man, who has passed through many challenges in life but equally demonstrated high degree of resilience, determination and character to achieve his goals.
He said: “Your passion to serve with excellence is evident in how you have used the opportunities and challenges available to you, as quantity surveyor, DG BPE, minister, governor, as well as member of various bodies in public and private sectors to shape policies.”
The NGF also commended Governor El-Rufa’i for providing the right environment for the Forum to operate seamlessly at its headquarters located in Kaduna.
The NGF chairman further assured Governor El-Rufa’i that the body will continue to tap into his wealth of experience in finding solutions to the many challenges of the region and the nation at large.
