The Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM), Mr Abba Bello has said Jigawa state being endowed with a lot of mineral resources has all it takes to produce exporters that carry their hoods across the international borders.
Bello stated this at the exporter enlightenment programme held at the Gumel Emirate Hall in Gumel local government area of Jigawa state on Thursday.
Represented by the Executive Director Corporate Services, Mr Ibrahim Kallil Gaga, Bello said the time has come for the potentials in the state to be harnessed for exportation.
He said the programme was designed to promote and provide people with the knowledge, tools, and resources to navigate the complexities of the global market as well as to maximise their export potentials.
“At NEXIM, we are committed to supporting and empowering our exporters, who play a pivotal role in driving the nation’s economic diversification and development.
“We are honoured to have with us today a distinguished array of speakers and industry experts from the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQAS),” he said.
Mr. Gaga disclosed that other experts that grilled the participants include the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC).
