Newnan bags leadership award for humanitarian gesture in Nigeria


The Chief Executive Officer of Zed-Faith Foundation International, ZFFI, Amb.Daniel Onyeka Newman, has bagged a leadership award for his humanitarian gesture that has impacted on the lives of widows and the vulnerable in Nigeria.

He was also inducted into the AASU hall of fame, a conglomerate of some students unions headquartered in Accra, Ghana, who conferred him with the honour.

Receiving the award tagged, Beacon of Hope for African Develooment, in Abuja, Newman, represented by Amb.Victor Atewe, said the honour was a call for him to redouble his efforts.

He noted that touching the lives of the elderly, widow and the needy has always being his delight and promised to remain consistent.

The Vice President of AASU, Comrade Lawal Yusuf, said the honour on Newman was done with due diligence.

He pointed that consultations and research was done on the recipient and they discovered that he was keen on human development and dedicated to service to the nation by positively impacting the lives of the downtrodden.

He further charged Newman to continually use his foundation as a bridge to reduce poverty by empowering beneficiaries of his gesture to be self reliant.

Newman through his foundation, ZFFI has been empowering and donating both food and non-food items to the needy and less privileged in the country.
