Nestle Nigeria Plc has recorded revenue of N133.084 billion for the financial year ended December 31, 2013.
The figure showed an increase N16.377 billion or 14.1% from N116.707 billion achieved in the corresponding period of 2012.
The company posted profit after tax of N22.258 billion within the period under review from N21.137 billion recorded the preceding year.
The company also proposed dividend payment of N24.00 per share held by shareholders.
In its third quarter result ended September 30, 2013 the company reported a rise in revenue from N85 billion the previous year to N95.4billion. The company gross profit also improved from N35.5 billion to N41.67 billion and net profit went up from N15.3 billion to N17.1 billion.
At the end of third quarter, Nestle declared an interim dividend of N1.50 to its shareholders and paid an interim dividend of the same amount to stakeholders.
