NEDC donates trade fair pavilion to NACCIMA

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has donated its trade fair pavilion at ongoing 15th North East Joint Trade Fair taking place at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Square, Bauchi, to the North East Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).

The coordinator of NEDC in Bauchi, Ibrahim Mohammed Bashir, presenting document of its pavilion to the vice president of the North East Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Alhaji Bala Othman Suleiman, at the Trade Fair Complex in Bauchi, stated that the gesture was for the use of the pavilion in future trade fair in Bauchi state and the sub-region in general.

Mohammed said the commission decided to donate the pavilion so as to encourage trade fair development and facilitate future trade fair, hoping that the pavilion would contribute immensely to the success of their activities.

He recalled that NACCIMA had earlier requested for the donation of the pavilion from the commission and assured that NEDC is always ready to support anything that would enhance economic and social well-being of states in the North east to achieve the desired objectives.

“The North East Development Commission is always ready to take part and support any development activities that are being requested and forwarded to it. I am sure the commission would take prompt action to ensure that there is development in the North east region,” he said.
