Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has commiserated with Governor Udom Emmanuel and the good people of Akwa Imo state on the tragic incidence of the collapse of Reigners Bible Church International in Uyo, which claimed the lives of scores of worshipers.
This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by his Special Assistant on Communications, C. Clara Braide.
It read in part: “The chairman wishes the injured, speedy recovery and prays for the peaceful repose of the souls of the faithful departed. He prays that the Almighty God grants their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Going forward, the chairman advised relevant authorities to conduct thorough investigation of the building collapse with those found complicit to face the full weight of the law.”
