Flagging off the programme in Lafia on behalf of the director general of NDE, Malam Fikpo Mohammed, the Nasarawa state coordinator, Mr. Chris Bamsida, said the 100 participants will be trained in various aspects of modern agricultural production for a period of three months in both livestock and crops.

He said the first two weeks will be experiential training on: Life skills lecture, record keeping, vegetable production and its value chain, poultry production, fish production, animal health management, small ruminants agricultural marketing, basic business training, writing of a business plan and farm record keeping.
