Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) has raised an alarm over a growing wave of fraudulent activities involving the unauthorized sale of properties at Lake View Estate, Navy Town, Asokoro.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Commander Abdulsalam Sani, Public Relations Officer of NHL, warned Nigerians to be wary of online scams falsely linking third-party agents to the company’s real estate offerings.
He emphasized that NHL is the sole owner and authorized vendor of all Navy lands, including properties in Lake View Estate, and conducts all transactions directly with buyers without intermediaries.
“The attention of Navy Holdings Limited has been drawn to a trending video circulating online, showing unscrupulous individuals attempting to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians by offering fake property deals at Lake View Estate,” Commander Sani stated.
“NHL has not authorized any third party or agent to facilitate the sale of its lands or properties. Any such claim is fraudulent. We urge prospective buyers to engage only with NHL directly.”
He advised those interested in purchasing Navy-owned property to visit the company’s office located on Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, opposite the Army War College Nigeria, for accurate and legitimate information.
Commander Sani urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities involving individuals or groups falsely claiming affiliation with Navy Holdings.
