National PDP Councillors Forum lauds Hon. Idris

National PDP Councillors Forum has given kudos to the Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Nigeria Air Force, Honourable
Mohammed Ibrahim Idris, over the deliverance of democratic dividend through his numerous constituency projects. Chairman of the forum, Hon. Onogu Collins Monday, which paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abuja on Wednesday, described Hon. Idris as a man whose visionary leadership and life changing values have produced inspiration beyond Ankpa- Omala-Olamaboro federal constituency.

According to the chairman the honourable member is first with the new in reference to his unprecedented constituency projects in the area, adding that Idris is a high potential personality who is ever true to his words, pragmatic and exceptionally loyal to the cause of his people.

“And because he is good, zealous, practical and strategic in thoughts and actions, he represents for us an inspiration. His constructive and eminently positive attitude to work and socio-political issues make him a testament of the desirable quality of his leadership.
“We, the councillors, foresee Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Idris being re-elected by a landslide provided the election is free and fair.
“You may ask what informed our decision, our confidence to endorse Mohammed Idris. It is anchored on his accomplishment in the last three and half years. We can testify to some of these areas.

“Let we start from the area of massive constituency projects, and provision of social amenities. Youth economic empowerment is one of Mohammed Idris’ cardinal objectives because he regards them as the fulcrum around which the development and future of the constituency revolves.
“He has attracted a number of MDGs projects, ecological fund and SURE-P projects to our constituency and promisde to do more”, the group said.
Responding, Hon. Mohammed Idris thanked the councillors for their extraordinary confidence reposed in him and promised to do more if re-elected for a second term.
He said: “We have gained new insights and would naturally be happy to use such to consolidate. Our records are before you and you are conveniently obliged to assess and make comparisons.”
