Nasarawa to partner Turkish Int’l College

Nasarawa state Governor, Umaru Al-Makura, has expressed readiness to partner with the Turkish International College in improving the quality of education in the state.

He disclosed this at the weekend during a courtesy call by members of the Turkish Community in Nigeria led by the Deputy Managing Director, First Surat Limited, Feyzullah Bilgin, at the Government House Lafi a.

Al-Makura said government was willing to support them in all that “they do in the fi elds that will add value to people of the state”, saying government would equally provide land for immediate development.

”I request you to look at the potential and possibility of extending more of your services to Nasarawa state, we are willing to collaborate and support you by providing land to you for immediate development “.

Earlier, leader of the delegation Bilgin said the visit was to informed the governor of the need to collaborate with Nasarawa state government towards providing quality education to it citizens.

He also attributed poor performance of students in Nigerian to poverty among other factors which according to him it reduces the student and teachers potentials to excel.
