Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule, Tuesday, swore in seven new permanent secretaries.
Addressing them at Government House in Lafia, Governor Sule charged them to brace up to meet public expectations by diligently applying themselves to the building the agenda of his administration geared towards transparent and good governance.
Sule said hard work, dedication, sacrifice and commitment will always be rewarded.
He explained that, considering the strategic position which the civil service occupy, his administration exercised due diligence in the appointment of the new permanent secretaries taking into cognizance hard work, experience, commitment, competence, sacrifice and above all, loyalty of these appointees.
While congratulating the new permanent secretaries for being found worthy of their new positions, the governor admonished them to continue distinguishing themselves as they have greater individual and collective responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery of their various Ministries.
He therefore, urged them eschew corruption in all its ramifications in line with the posture of his administration,as according to him “You must endeavor to ensure budgetary discipline and prudence in the management of public resources,” the governor tasked them.
The governor equally used the opportunity and sworn-in the reappointed Secretary to the government of Nasarawa state, Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu and explained why he reappointed Ubandoma as SSG.
He described Ubandoma as a person with outstanding record of performance, commitment, dedication, hard work, loyalty, proven integrity and exemplary antecedence.
