NAHCON approves 10 tour operator companies for Hajj 2025

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has approved 10 tour operator companies out of the 118 that applied for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

A statement by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Hajiya Fatima Sanda Usara, Friday, said the 10 tour operator companies were approved by the commission chairman Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.

She said the 10 approved firms are classified as lead companies, disclosing that after screening, 118 private tour operators were qualified for the licence for the 2025 Hajj and Umrah operations.

According to the statement: “Sequel to the application and thorough screening of Tour Operators companies that applied for the 2025 Hajj and Umrah operations, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria is happy to announce the list of companies as approved by the Chairman Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman.

“After the screening, 118 Private Tour Operators qualified for the License. The 10 lead companies were selected along three zones namely four from Kano zone, three from FCT zone and three from Lagos. The ten lead companies are selected in compliance with Saudi Arabian directives.”
