NAHCON: 20 graduate as HIN holds first graduation ceremony 

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Hajj Institute of Nigeria (HIN) presented the first set of 20 students with certificates Tuesday in Hajj House, Abuja.

Addressing the HIN graduates, the rector, Professor Nasir Maiturare, admonished the graduates to use the knowledge gained to ensure pilgrims’ satisfaction at every stage of the hajj process. 

HIN rector said training and professional certification of national and state, Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board staff is the institute’s priority number one.

He stated: “Throughout this course, you have learned a great deal about leadership, strategy, and management of ideas from both contemporary and Islamic perspectives.

“You have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds in the sector and in the process gain valuable insights into how to lead and inspire your teams towards success in hajj operations.

“The diverse range of experiences and perspectives that every one of us brings to the table have enriched our discussion sessions and helped us to see problems and solutions from different angles.

“We are indeed highly impressed and encouraged by your resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to this professional development program.

“I, therefore urge our esteem graduates to use your new gain knowledge and skills in the discharge of your various responsibilities and to create a legacy of excellence in hajj operations that will endure long after you move on to other endeavors.”
