Monarch urges Nigerians to pray for leaders

A traditional ruler, the Sapayi of Garki, in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Usman Nda Kupi, has appealed to Nigerians to always pray for their leaders instead of going against them.
Kupi made the appeal when AMAC National Unity Committee team paid him a visit at his palace in Garki at the weekend.
He said when Nigerians prayed for their leaders to succeed, they would do well and lay a good foundation for the young generations.
The traditional ruler also advised the committee to extend their campaign to youth vanguards in the 12 political wards in AMAC to give more enlightenment about peace and unity.
“I commended the federal government, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) for initiating this peace and unity campaign. We as traditional rulers, we are going to extend the campaign to our subject for better Nigeria,” he said.
Speaking during the visit, the chairman of the committee, Mr. John B. Bawa, frowned on the way parents handle the issue of their children.
“Our children are not taking care of by we, parents, most of them engage themselves in armed robbery, kidnappers, cultism and other forms of social vice without caution by we, the parents.”
