Mohbad: PCRC calls on Nigerians, diaspora to help police investigation

Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has called on Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora to help the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) with useful information that will unravel the hidden cause of the death of the late a young Nigerian Afro hip-hop artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad.

MohBad,27 died in an unforeseen circumstance as he was allegedly drugged and bullied before his death.

The National Chairman of the PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim who spoke through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Comrade Kunle Sodipo in a statement issued in Abuja said the leadership of the PCRC is prioritizing the importance of lawful investigations, which will legally bring to book anyone found culpable in what can only be described as wicked, barbaric and highly condemnable acts.

He expressed his deepest condolences to the fans, the immediate and extended families of the deceased but noted the importance of aiding Police investigation which is the only way of identifying (if any) those whose actions or inactions contributed to his death.

While thanking the Ag.Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the actions taken so far, the PCRC demands patience and cooperation from all fans and lovers of late Mohbad across the world pending the outcome of ongoing investigation by the Nigeria Police Force.
