Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has commissioned five Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) kiosks to serve as outlets to showcase and advertise available products from the agricultural sector.
Commissioning the kiosks recently in Abuja, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs. Ibukun Odusote, stated that the essence of such outlets, was to showcase the successes recorded through the ATA.

Mrs. Odusote, added that the idea behind the outlets was not to create another market, but to make available and provide information on where to find certain types of real agricultural products, and not adulterated ones.
She therefore explained that, the ministry was of the opinion of letting everyone know what has been going in the ministry, through its slogan which says “from the farm to the table”.

Earlier in her remarks, the Director, General Services, Mrs. Aniefiok Udo, said the essence of creating the kiosks was as a result of the need to showcase and advertise the ATA products within and outside the ministry.
Mrs. Udo, therefore encouraged staff to patronize the kiosks and the products, which she said would be at a cheaper and affordable prices.
Expressing the appreciation of the Kiosks operators, Mrs. Yinka Falana, on behalf of the operators, thanked the management for the construction of the kiosks, and pledged their readiness to serve with total commitment.
Some of the items displayed in the kiosks were Rice, Cassava, Bread, Livestock, Fish, and Palm-oil, all locally produced, through the ministry’s value chains.
