The Methodist Bishop of Nsukka/Eha-Amufu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. John Eze, has donated N500,000 to a recent convert, Nnamdi Samuel, during a three-day open-air crusade in Ikem, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area (LGA) of Enugu state.
Nnamdi Samuel, a native of Ikem, embraced christianity after responding to the bishop’s ministration at the event.
As a gesture of support and encouragement, the bishop presented the financial gift to help Samuel improve his life.
In addition to this act of generosity, the bishop extended his goodwill to the local community by offering free fuel to commercial motorcyclists.
The giveaway, which took place at the Eha Amufu Motor Park, brought relief to hundreds of bike riders and commuters, easing the financial burden of the festive season.
Speaking at the event, the bishop emphasised the church’s mission to positively impact lives, saying, “As a church, we are committed to serving the community and making a positive difference.”
The kind gesture was met with appreciation from community members, many of whom expressed gratitude for the unexpected support during the yuletide period.
