Mbah, Enugu gov cannot fight sit-at-home alone – Ukwu

The Founder, Daniel Ukwu Leadership Foundation (DULF), Mr. Daniel Ukwu, has said that Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state cannot fight the sit-at-home alone but that it should be a combined effort of all the South East governors.

Ukwu who stated this in  an interview with Blueprint on Tuesday, said to end the IPOB imposed sit-at-home every Monday, all the governors should take similar stance so that there would be no way the enforcers could come from one state to attack another since it will be a multifarious attack from every front.

“Mbah cannot fight the sit-at-home  order alone.  All the governors of the South East should come together to end the sit-at-home to save business activities in the zone.

“If Governor Mbah alone is fighting it, they will see it as a personal fight and it will turn to a Gorrilla warfare.  All the governors of the South East should move to end the Sitathome together,” Ukwu said.

Recall that Governor Mbah has sworn to end the Sitathome order in Enugu state stating that it was driving enterpreneurship aground and destabilizing everything in the state.

He expressed the view that if Enugu is fighting to end Sitathome alone, gunmen could come from one of the states to attack but if all the states are involved, the problem will be sorted out.

“Any governor that is trying to champion the end to the Sitathome, they are going to rubbish him.  We are saying that the best thing is that all the governors of the South East should come together as a team.

“If Enugu is doing it and Abia is not doing it, Imo is not doing it, it cannot work.  Why Soludo could not do it is because it was an individual state.  One state alone cannot end the Sitathome.  So, all governors  of the South East should come together because the boys are scattered everywhere.  This is because if Enugu is making effort, the boys from Abia or Imo will say that this man is taking too much, what is his own and they will start to fight the person and it will become a Gorrilla war,” the DULF boss posits.
