Max Air concludes pigrims airlift

Max Air Limited has said it had concluded the transportation of its 35, 482 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2017 Hajj exercise. Its Public Relations Manager, Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen shortly before the last flight departed the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, yesterday. “The last flight of intending pilgrims is at the moment at the airport boarding and any time from now the aircraft will depart for the Holy land.

“As you know the last flight is a combination of intending pilgrims from some states and officials of the some states pilgrims’ welfare boards,” he said. He said with the last flight, the airline had transported 35, 482 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in 66 trips since the commencement of the airlift on Monday, July 31. Dahiru commended the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the states pilgrims’ welfare boards for their support and cooperation. He noted that the gesture had contributed immensely to the successful completion of the transportation of the pilgrims to the Holy land. “We hope that the same gesture will be extended to the airline during the return airlift of the pilgrims after the Hajj exercise.”
