A frontline All Progressives Congress support group, APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3), Wednesday, said the appointment of former Katsina state Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari as chairman, Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is well deserved and a step in the right direction.
The group expressed optimism that Masari will bring his wealth of experience to uplift Nigerian higher institutions in the area of research and infrastructural development.
The group in a press release signed by APC G3 National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, while congratulating Masari, said is one of the silent pillars behind the Tinubu-Shettima presidency.
The group noted his networking not only in the North, but the entire country to ensure the success of the party in the last Presidential election.
APC G3 urged Masari to use his new position to ensure TETFUND support our tertiary institutions move to global level.
According to the group “We are convinced that as a former Speaker, House of Representatives and a former Governor for 8 years, Rt. Hon. Masari is bringing his wealth of knowledge to TETFUND.”
“Rt. Hon. Masari who is Grand Patron of the APC G3 has shown capacity in previous positions he has held. He has been silently working for the success of the present administration.
“With Rt. Hon. Masari as Chair, TETFUND, the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration is going to bring about positive change in our tertiary institutions,” APC G3 added.
