A 25-year-old motorcyclist allegedly survived from a five-inch knife with which was stabbed by his attackers who claimed to be passengers after disembarking at Angwa Zaria in Suleja.

The victim, who the police source identified as Musa Abdul, hails from Katsina, but resides in Suleja, was attacked at about 8 pm during the weekend, had picked up two unidentified men as passengers into an interior part of Suleja.

According to the police source, during a patrol operation around the area of Suleja the police met a still body bleeding profusely with a five-inch long knife pierced in the right side of his stomach.
The source said: “We quickly took him to the Berith Specialist Hospital Kwamba in Suleja to save life first. These men stabbed Abdul at the right corner of his stomach to obtain his Baja bike with no registration number.

“It seems he was in a struggle with the attackers because of the extent of his injuries.”
While he was being rushed to the hospital he managed to narrate to the police patrol team how he was attacked.

Abdul survived the vicious attack, but is in a serious condition in hospital.
When Blueprint visited the hospital, the victim was seen to be hale and healthy as he shared his experience in the hands of his attackers with our correspondent.

“There was blood everywhere. I was lucky to survive. I believe they wanted to kill me,” he said.
