The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary (NBTS) has tasked Nigerians especially the political class to work hard to restore the glory of the country.
Addressing a press conference on the 2024 NBTS Ministers’ Conference on Tuesday at NBTS Council Room, Hybrid Library Extension) in Ogbomosho, President, The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, Rev. Prof. S. Ola. Ayankeye said Nigeria will rise again in all ramifications.
According to Prof Ayankeye, the time has come for all political office holders and others in government to be more intentional in ensuring restoration of economic, social, educational vibrancy in Nigeria.
“We call on all political office holders and all others in government to be more intentional in ensuring restoration of economic, social, educational vibrancy in Nigeria”, he said.
Prof Ayankeye added, “More efforts should also be directed to ensuring security of life and property so that dwellers in Nigeria will experience a conducive atmosphere to face their work with peace of mind”.
“The citizenry should also be law abiding and be praying for our leaders regularly. Time has come when everyone should work hard to restore the glory of our nation, Nigeria. Nigeria will rise again in all ramifications.”
Speaking on the 2024 NBTS Ministers’ Conference, Prof Ayankeye disclosed that the press conference is to intimate of the arrangement and preparation for the 2024 Ministers’ Conference to hold from Monday, September 9, to Thursday, September 12, 2024.
He stressed that the theme for the Conference is “The Gospel Minister and His Call.” with various activities designed to develop the theme among which are: African praise, hymn singing, instrumentals, messages, Bible teachings, group discussions, intercessory prayers, witnessing, and football match.
