LEADS honours Miyetti Allah leader

National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, has been conferred with a prestigious Leads-Africa’s Patriotic personality award by the League of African Development Students (LEADS), the umbrella body for all democratic student unions in Africa.
Presenting the award to Bodejo at his office at Tudun-Wada, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state, Head of Advocacy of Leads, Mr. Osisiogu Osikenyi, said that the awardee is a role model, outstanding mentor who has used his wealth and position to impact upon the society.
He said Bodejo’s recognition was as a result of his exemplary community service, adding that the award recipient has a vibrant, dynamic and remarkable career and an unflinching quest for national development in Africa with his pioneering cause for development.
He called on governments in Africa to emulate Bodejo’s immense wealth of community service, corporate leadership and business investment as well as his capacity to ensure peace and harmony
Osikenyi further called on the federal government, states and National Assembly to exercise caution on the issue of grazing law and policy so as not to create a hoax in the breeding of livestock in Nigeria.
Accepting the award, Bodejo thanked the African students union for finding him fit for the honour, saying his community service efforts would increase cover more grounds in African countries.
According to him, he would continue to stride for the peaceful co-existence of his people, Nigerians and Africa at large.
Leads, like her counterparts, has membership cutting across countries of Africa, including Ghana, Kenya, Sudan, Coted’lvoire, The Gambia, Cameroun, Zimbabwe, Burundi and Egypt.
