Law School alumni thumb up Lagos commissioner on performance

Lagos State commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo AbdulWahab, has been commended for doing the right thing by making Lagos state a safer and cleaner environment.

He was also adjudged as an added value to the society that will discharge his duty without blemish.

This view was expressed by his colleagues of class 2000 of the Nigerian Law School  at a reception organised for him in Ikeja, Lagos.

His colleagues took turn to pour encomium on the commissioner saying that they decided to honour him because he has distinguished himself as a man that cares and he  has impacted in the lives of others.

They noted that he was not the first person that would be appointed to public office among their set, adding that the set has produced Attorney General and Ministers, but he was the  first person they would be honoured because he is a unique man with exemplary character.

In company of Abdul Wahab to the reception were,Lagos state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mobolaji Ogunlende, Commissioner for Finance, Yomi Oluyomi, and the chairman of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), Dolapo Fasawe.

Some of his Law School colleagues who spoke  at the reception were Sadat Kanotri, Vivian Ekezie,Nkechi Ojo, Sheik Al-llory Abdullai, Dr.Liborous Oshoma, among others.

“We have had commissioners, Attorney General and Ministers in our midst, we have not celebrated anybody, but we unanimously agreed to celebrate him.

“He has been of immense assistance to others,” Oshoma said.
