The management of University of Benin (UNIBEN) has commiserated with the family of late Miss Claire Nwobodo, a 500-level student of the institution who died in last Sunday’s gas explosion in the Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofi Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos Missstate.
The late student was among the victims recorded in the tragedy.
The university’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Dr. Benedicta Ehanire quoted the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lillian Salami, and the entire management as “praying God almighty to grant her (Claire) eternal rest”.
The statement added that late Claire was a 500-level student of the faculty of pharmacy.
