Kwara governor commiserates with Katsina over Kankara attacks 

The Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has  emphasised with governor Dikko Umar Radda and the people of Katsina on the terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of many people including four policemen in Kankara local government area of the state.

In a statement Wednesday by chief press secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor condemned the cowardly attacks on innocent citizens and security operatives, saying the violence is unwarranted and represents the highest level of cruelty and crime against humanity. 

“We are also alarmed at the audacity with which violent non state actors are unleashing violence on security forces, including military personnel, who put their lives on the line to protect citizens.

“We stand by the government, the security forces, and the good people of Katsina state at this trying time. We ask Allah to forgive the victims and comfort their families. We are confident that the security agencies will haunt down the criminals involved in this crimes against humanity,” the governor said.
