The executive chairman of Kwali area council, Hon. Danladi Chiya, has unveiled a website for the Area Council.
The event for the unveiling took place, Thursday at the chairman’s conference hall of the council secretariat in Kwali, Abuja.
Hon. Chiya, while unveiling the e-site, described the development as a milestone for the administration and charged citizens to engage in with it maximally.
“Today is another day; a milestone has been achieved for the administration because this website is an important tool for this government in seeking to improve communication, ease administrative burdens and provide greater access to public services for our people and businesses, investors alike,” he said.
The chairman directed that all communication and feedback mechanisms be fully activated for engagement with citizens.
He said “the council shall henceforth put necessary information on the website so that the electorate and the general public could give feedback and peruse our projects, programmes and activities across all the departments and various sectors of the council.
“Let the Information Office ensure that the Area Council is on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram to communicate with the general public about the various services and programmes that are available to them. I strongly believe this will further compliment the website.” the chairman added.
The website built by Creatify (or CAN Group), a leading technology firm is www.kwaliac.abj.gov.ng
The event was graced by top government functionaries and stakeholders across the area council.
