Kogi to partner with Israeli investors

Kogi state government is set to partner with Galilee International Institute in Israel in the areas of agriculture, disaster and health management, urban development, transport as well as in the area of tourism.

The Governor of Kogi state, Captain Idris Wada, disclosed this yesterday when he received the management of the Institute from Israel at Government House, Lokoja.

Wada, who spoke extensively on his transformation agenda, told the delegation that the state government is fully prepared to invest in capacity building as a key to the rapid socio economic development of the state.

He also spoke on the need for proper education of citizens to fast track the state’s development.

Earlier, President of the Institute, Dr. Joseph Shevel, expressed the readiness of the organization to assist Kogi state for the achievement of its transformation agenda.
