“When I resumed as the rector of this great institution, one of my vocal area was to ensure that we achieved a full accreditation of all of our courses in all our departments. I was in shock upon resumption to discover that the institute had not attained full accreditation even after over eight years of establishment.
“This situation had impeded the growth of the institution and was totally displeasing; hence we set out modalities to resolve this quagmire. You would also recall that between the 19th -21th of December 2023, the delegation from the Nigeria Board for Technical Education were at our institution to carry out an accreditation exercise of all our programmes.
“Gentlemen of the press, we are so delighted to announce to you and the entire public that the NBTE has granted full accreditation to the all the programmes in our institution and  the  accreditation  took  effect from January 2024,” he said.
While expressing  gratitude to the  immediate past governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his  continued interest and support to  education at all levels, the rector stated that the institute has  benefitted maximally from the former governor’s  foresight and good gestures in education.
