Kogi guber: OAMGG backs Ododo, unveils campaign souvenirs in Abuja 

A campaign group, Ododo Ambassadors for Good Governance (OAMGG), has unveiled its souvenirs for Alhaji Ahmed Usman-Ododo ahead of the Novemer 11, 2023 Kogi state gubernatorial election.

The group at the souvenir-unveiling event over the weekend in Abuja also inaugurated its executive officers to help the pilot their activities to ensure Ododo wins the Kogi Gubernatorial elections come November this year.

The Director General Centre for Women Development, Dr. Mrs. Asabe Balita Bashir, while congratulating the new executives, charged them to leave up to their responsibilities to ensure Ododo emerges governor of Kogi state during the election. 

Dr Bashir maintained that women have a vital role to play in the campaign movement and the gubernatorial elections in the state. 

According to her, Ododo is the required and capable candidate for the governorship seat for stability and unity of Kogi state and development of the country.

The group’s Director of Women Affairs, Ramatu Abdulhammed, assured of massive campaign and mobilisation to ensure that Ododo emerges victorious during the polls.

She hinted of adequate mobilisation already ongoing, especially with major women groups, to ensure a landslide victory for Ododo and called on all members to engage in door-to-door mobilisation to create the required awareness for the victory. 

“We aim to intensify our campaign strategy by reaching out to people at the grassroots and ensure we canvass for our candidate, telling them about the good things of APC.

“That is the strategy we want to use as the executives to ensure that Ododo emerges victorious during the Kogi state gubernatorial elections,” she said.
