Kogi First Lady inspects medical outreach venue

Kogi state First Lady, Hajiya Halima Ladi Wada, has rolled out plans to ensure a hitch-free medical outreach due for December in the state.                                           Blueprint gathered that the choice of the venue, Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede, is to ensure a synergy amongst health institutions in the state so as to enhance the success of the programme.

The outreach is collaboration between Kogi Women Empowerment Network (KOWEN), and a U.S. medical team, consisting of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses in North America (NANNNA).
Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Hajiya Memuna Umar, the First Lady expressed joy over the arrangement of the college.

The team would also engage in seminars, workshops and talk shops to educate the people on ways of ensuring proper health care.
The Provost of the college, Titus Kehinde Ayimogun, along with the principal officers, conducted the team round the college for on-the-spot assessment of the facilities, preparatory to the commencement of the programme.
