Four days after the abduction of Ahoada West local government area chairman, Mr. Awori Miller, in Rivers state, his whereabouts is still unknown.
It would be recalled that the victim was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday night by three armed men at Acania Hotel at Rufus Ada George Road, Port Harcourt.

Our correspondent gathered that the suspected kidnappers had carried out their mission before security men around the hotel noticed them, and that the chairman reportedly left home at the weekend without his orderly.
A police source told our correspondent that the council boss had instructed his orderly to wait for him, saying that his visit was a private one.

Blueprint also gathered that the said orderly had been arrested for dereliction of duties.
Confirming the report, the Rivers state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Grace Irine-Koko, said the police were still after the kidnappers in an attempt to arrest them and free their victim.
