The death has occurred of Engr. Sani Haruna Abdullahi, a pioneer staff of Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic.
A statement issued by the institution’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Isah Hadi Abubakar, said he died in a motor accident along Kano-Daura road in the wee hours of May 5, this year.
The statement said until his death, he was a Principal Lecturer and a former Director in the College of Engineering Science & Technology in the school.
He was a PhD student in Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds United Kingdom. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites; he left behind three wives and many children.
Present at the funeral prayer were the Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu, the Chairman Kazaure local government area, Sadisu Abubakar (Mabo), the Rector and Management staff of the institution.
Prayers were offered for the repose of his soul.
