Kaura administrator hails el-Rufa’i on appointment

Administrator of Kaura local government, Mr. Zitung Basahuwa Agog, has commended Kaduna state Governor, Nasiru-el-Rufa’I, over his appointment as the administrator of the council.

Also, friends and relations of the local government boss, who at the weekend, organised a grand reception to honor him, took their turns to extol the virtues and administrative competence of Agog, saying the governor El-Rufai made the right choice in fishing out their  worthy son and friend to serve the local government.

Speaking at the reception, a community leader and former District Head of Fadiya, Elder Andrew Kazah, said he was not surprised that Agog was appointed as the council’s administrator because he was a child of destiny.

He said, he was optimistic that Agog would make the difference among other appointees, given his wealth of experience in the civil service as well as his competence in administration.

Also speaking, Mr. John kura Yashim, Anthony Nake, Solomon Larry Dauda and Barr Andrew Maigamu, all described Agog as a man of peace, a good adviser and a dependable friend, who was always ready to go the extra mile to assist anyone in need.

They lauded his administrative diligence, saying they were not surprised to hear of the successful transformation stories emanating from Kaura local government since his assumption of office as administrator.

They therefore encouraged him not to relent on the good work he has started, especially his peace and confidence building initiatives, as well as his determination’s determination to sanitise the civil service and bring development to the people of the local government.

Speaking on behalf of the women at the reception, Mrs. Lamirin Yakubu, thanked him for being there for many people and enjoined his friends to support and pray for him to succeed.
