The Vice Chancellor, Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa, has said that the university was set to host 119 vice chancellors and other stakeholders at the 35th Conference of the Association of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities.
Musa, while briefing journalists, Friday, said the conference, which will commence on Monday, would address issues relating to funding opportunities that would enable university to improve digital learning capacity, artificial intelligence as well as quantum studies.
He disclosed that the conference would be declared open by the Visitor, Kano University of Science and Technology, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and chaired by the university’s Pro-Chancellor, A.B Mahmoud (SAN).
“The keynote address would be delivered by former Vice Chancellor of the university, and the immediate past Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Professor Ibrahim Garba,” he added.
He further revealed, other special guests would include: TET Fund Boss, Professor Bogoro, NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, and other dignitaries within and outside the country.
