Auwalu Musa with Hajiya Hadiza Magagji serving as secretary while the committee for the revival of state old students association has 7 members with Alhaji Muhd Idris as chairman while Alhaji Tijjani Sarki serves as secretary.
Constituting the committees, the Permanent Secretary of SERVICOM, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, said the establishing the committees was as a result of meeting with stakeholders of education and KASSOSA with a view to having a central body of old students association in the state to mobilize resources within their ambit towards improving the education sector.
The Permanent Secretary emphasized that government alone could not shoulder the responsibility of education without the contribution of all and sundry, especially old students, while charging the committee members to justify the confidence reposed on them.
On his part, the Chairman Board of Trustees of KASSOSA, Alhaji Muh’d Jafar Na’abba stressed the need for capacity building among teachers of core subjects especially Mathematics and English language in government secondary schools.
