Super Eagles will be without Samuel Kalu for a friendly against Brazil after the Bordeaux winger suffered a training ground injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced that Kalu has now been replaced by Viv Solomon-Otabor, who plays for CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria and has pledged his international allegiance to Nigeria after he featured for England at age-grade levels.
Kalu will be the second player to withdraw from the Eagles squad after CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo was also ruled out by injury.
The Eagles take on five-time world champions Brazil on October 13 at the National Stadium in Singapore.
Brazil first defeated the three-time African champions 3-0 in Abuja in June 2003.
