Kaduna: Rep Magaji reiterates commitment to educational development

 

The member representing Zangon Kataf/Jaba constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Amos Gwamna Magaji, has reiterated his commitment in educational development in his constituency.

Magaji gave the reiteration at the second passing out parade of Police Secondary School Tum Kagoro Kaura local government area of Kaduna state, recently.

The legislator, who was a special guest at the occasion and represented by Mr Friday Iyah, observed that education is one of the best things that a leader should give priority to enable the society grows into an enabling one, owing to the fact that it is the channel that young ones are trained for the future, and since the youths are the bedrock of all societies, there was need to ensure they are given all support in that aspect.

He then commended the management of the school for their efforts in bringing up disciplined young officers and congratulated the graduands and urged them to use the training obtained geared towards improving their lives in their future endeavors.

Earlier in his address at the occasion, the Police Force Education Officer, Olubiyi Ibidapo, assured Nigerians of the commitment of the police in ensuring that sustainable law and order is actualised in the country through presentation of quality education to the youth in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria.

Represented by the Deputy Force Education Officer, ACP Sambo Shehu, Ibidapo urged parents to enroll their children into Police secondary schools in the country, stressing that the schools provide quality education to its students as well as training into discipline police officers.

The commandant of the school, SP. Moses Yohana Bammai, in a remark commended Senator Danjuma Laah Tela for being instrumental to the siting of the school at Tum, an effort that has provided the youths of the area with good education and police training.

He commended the Inspector General of Police for putting all things in order to ensure that the school fast track quality education.

Also speaking at the event, the chairman of the occasion, His Royal Highness the Chief of Takad, Mr Tobias Nkom Wada, said the school is one of the best things that happened to the Southern Kaduna area, and thanked all the people that were responsible for ensuring the establishment of the school.
