Kaduna State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board has called on Islamic preachers to rededicate themselves toward educating this year’s intending pilgrims on the rudiments of pilgrimage.
The acting Director Operations of the Board, Malam Abubakar Alhassan, made the call during an interactive session with media on Sunday at Rigachikun, Kaduna.
Alhassan said the preachers contributed immensely toward educating pilgrims at home and during the Hajj exercise with and without allowances.
Malam Abubakar Alhassan explained that the enlightenment exercise would commence soon across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna state.
Almost all the 23 local government areas have the representatives of Islamic preachers during the event.
