Kaduna, India sign pact on free investment

As part of efforts to boost reindustrialisation of Kaduna state and create job opportunities for its teeming youth, Kaduna state government has partnered India in the area of free flow of investment and businesses from India to the state.

The MOU was signed in New Delhi, India by Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna state, represented by his special adviser on trade and investment, Alhaji Muhammed Yusuf Lere and Ms Supriya Banerji representing the chairman Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), as well as Malam Yahaya Garba for the consultants.

The MOU will enhance free flow of investments from India to Kaduna state to speed up industrialisation of the state that will create variety of jobs opportunities in the state.

Kaduna state has embarked on variety of foreign direct investments since the assumption of office of Governor Mukhtar Yero to provide gainful employment for the youth in the state and deter them from crime thereby improving on the peace and unity in the state.
