President of Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), Alhaji Dalhatu Abubakar, Sokoto State Board of Internal Revenue, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maccido, and Chairman, Bwari Area Council, Hon. Musa Diko are among personalities shortlisted for conferment of honorary doctorate degree of the State University of New York, Albany, USA coming up on 2nd of December at the University of Lagos.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the Africa Coordinator, World Association of Academic Evaluators and Assessors (WAAEA), Prof Lambe A. Adeyemi said those shortlisted for the award distinguished themselves in their various professionals calling and translated that to the overall socio-economic and political development of Nigeria.
Others listed for the honour are; Managing Director of Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC), Alhaji Gidado Modibbo; Chairman of Damaturu local government council of Yobe state, Alhaji Bulama Madu, Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Aro LCDA, Ogun state, Hon. Adebayo Yusuf, and Executive Chairman of Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi state, Hon. Henry S. Eze as well as Bauchi state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi.
They were listed among others for Leadtimes Africa prize for transparency, integrity, accountability and selfless service.
