A Federal High Court Judge in Abuja, Justice Gladys Olotu, has sued Leaders and Company Ltd, publishers of This Day Newspapers, for N2 billion over its publication on Wednesday 13, November 2012.
Solicitor to the plaintiff, Sir Chief (Dr.) Alfred Eghobamien (SAN), yesterday told a Benin High Court that the newspaper had in the said libelous publication- with headline, “EFCC probes seven judges for corruption”, mentioned Justice Olotu’s name.

Olotu therefore demanded for the payment of two billion naira damages and a withdrawal of the libelous publication with unqualified apology to be given a prominent place on the front page of seven widely read newspapers including ThisDay newspapers and on the Internet.
